This significant milestone was awarded at the 27th edition of the National Excellence Award, a prestigious event held on November 27th, organized by the Costa Rican Chamber of Industries (CICR).

What does this recognition mean?
The Business Excellence Program, developed by the CICR, is an initiative that encourages Costa Rican companies to measure and improve their performance within a framework of sustainability and competitiveness. Based on international standards, this model covers key dimensions such as:
- Economic: Clients and markets, processes, innovation, and technology.
- Social: Human talent and social responsibility.
- Environmental: Commitment to the environment.
The central focus of this model is culture, leadership, and strategy, guiding all efforts towards sustainable and impactful results. More than 48 companies participated in the program in 2024, with only five achieving the Mature Level, which requires more than 500 points in the comprehensive evaluation.
According to Sergio Capón, president of the CICR: “We want Costa Rican companies to become increasingly stronger with greater capabilities to positively influence the economy, society, and the environment. This program not only celebrates achievements but also builds a solid path toward continuous improvement and sustainability.”
